The latest generation of high-power LED's is characterized by COB (Chip On Board) manufacturing. Numerous tiny semiconductor chips (LED's) are mounted on a flat circuit board.

OPTICS:
Odyssea LED Optic's are made from a highly Durable and heat resistant, Borosilicate glass material. This is the choice for a wide range of applications, from cookware to laboratory use.
Creating borosilicate glass requires higher temperatures than those necessary for the production of regular glass, although this also accounts for its higher heat resistance. It also faces far less material stress than regular glass due to its lower thermal expansion coefficient, which also adds to its exceptional performance at high temperatures. Additionally, borosilicate glass is far more durable than traditional glass, and can withstand accidents that would break other glass.
HOUSINGS:
Our thru-hulls are cast of red bronze, also known as naval bronze, the most corrosive resistant copper alloy available. Our standard light housings are also available in 316 stainless steel, for those who prefer the excellent characteristics of this metal. Our light housings are cast with very sturdy wall thickness and machined with straight pipe thread, which blends into tapered pipe thread at the bottom of the neck. Machined sealant groove on back of flange face to prevent leakage. Complete with jam nut.
Note- It is required to have cathodic bonding system to insure proper service of your underwater lights.
THERMAL DISIPATION:
LED lighting has proven to be widely accepted across the globe due to its energy-saving advantages. An LED’s performance, similar to any other semiconductor device, is temperature sensitive. Higher temperature causes degradation in life and light emittance of the LED. OdysseaLED offers a high performance cooling technology to cool LED's. This technology allows us to use the surrounding water and air flow for highest performance and efficiency.
Deep Sea LED, LLC. (Herein called "Odyssea LED") warrants the products described herein and manufactured by Odyssea LED to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY from date of shipment by Odyssea LED, under normal use and service, its sole obligation under warranty being limited to repairing and replacing, (as hereinafter provided) at its option, any product found to Odyssea LED's satisfaction to be defective upon examination of it, provided that such product shall be returned for inspection, freight prepaid, to Odyssea LED's factory within 90 days after discovery of the defect.
The repair or replacement of defective products will be made without charge for parts or labor.
This warranty shall not apply to parts or products not manufactured by Odyssea LED, the warranty for such items being limited to the actual warranty extended to Odyssea LED by its supplier.
This warranty shall not apply to any product which has been subjected to abuse, negligence, accident, improperly installed, or misapplication, or to any product which shall have been altered or repaired by others than Odyssea LED, nor to normal maintenance services and the replacement of service items (such as, but not limited to: washers, gaskets, lubricants, etc.) made in connection with such purchases.
This limited warranty does not cover problems caused by improper maintenance, storage, cradling, blocking, normal wear and tear, lack of bonding or cathodic protection, misuse, neglect, accident, corrosion, electrolysis, or improper operation.
